Students and seniors alike will explore the world of chocolate through education, tasting, and hands-on making — with every participant taking home their own chocolate creations.

Cost: $26 per person | One teacher/director/administrator admitted free | $50 non-refundable deposit applied to total | Minimum of 12 Participants

Our chocolate field trip experience is designed to delight a wide range of groups across the Atlanta Metro — from Roswell and Alpharetta to Sandy Springs, Dunwoody, East Cobb, and beyond. This event is a perfect indoor activity for ages 5 to 99!  We even have a time slot where you can bring your lunch and have it here!

Schools, Home Schools & Day Care Centers (Ages 5+)

Whether you're planning elementary school field trips in Johns Creek, homeschool field trips from Milton or Woodstock, or daycare outings from Marietta or East Cobb, Chamberlain's delivers rich educational experiences for students of all ages. It's one of the most creative and curriculum-connected educational field trip ideas in north Atlanta, and we make learning genuinely sweet.

School groups choose from three hands-on chocolate experiences:

Choice 1: Create Your Own "Ginormous" Chocolate Bar

• Choose your chocolate type, one layer at a time
• Select from several delicious fillings
• Add a second chocolate layer of your choice
• Design and color your own personalized wrapper
• Wrap it up and take your masterpiece home
• Watch a video about how chocolate is made

Choice 2: Chocolate Lollipop, Mini Bar & Oreo®

• Craft your own chocolate lollipop
• Create a mini chocolate bar with your choice of fillings
• Dip and decorate an Oreo® with Chamberlain's chocolate and sprinkles
• Watch a video about how chocolate is made

Choice 3: Chocolate Dipped Dried Fruit & Drizzled Popcorn

• Choose three varieties of dried fruit to dip in chocolate
• Drizzle chocolate on freshly-made popcorn
• Watch a video about how chocolate is made

Note: Choices 2 and 3 may run longer than 90 minutes for groups over 25 participants.

Senior Centers & Assisted Living Facilities

The same three chocolate-making experiences are available for senior groups from Sandy Springs, Dunwoody, Alpharetta, Roswell, and across the Atlanta Metro, with an engaging discussion about the history, culture, and variety of chocolate plus a tasting session before the hands-on fun begins.

Both Events: Schedule & Logistics

• Available: Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays
• Time slots: 11:00 am–12:30 pm | 11:00 am–1:00 pm* | 1:30 pm–3:00 pm
• *Optional: Stay 30 extra minutes for a bring-your-own lunch for an additional $52 (water, cups & napkins provided) Note: peanuts and or peanut containing products may not be brought into the facility.
• Group size: Minimum 12, maximum 45 chocolate makers
• Balance paid in full at end of event (one payment, not per participant)
• Bus parking at shopping center entrance or PGA Store lot — no bus parking in front of Chamberlain's

Important Notes

• At least one adult must remain in the event space during the event
• No tax for this experience
• We do not have sugar-free chocolate
• Please ask participants not to use cell phones during the event
• Still photos are welcome; video and audio recording are not permitted during the presentation
• No peanuts or peanut butter products are allowed in the facility
